Tell me what is going on.
No discovery call, no funnel. Email me a few sentences about your organization and what prompted you to look. I will tell you which engagement fits, or that none of them do.
Useful things to include: roughly how many members you have, your annual budget range, what sport or sector you are in, and what happened recently that made you start looking. That last one usually tells me more than the rest combined.
I answer within two business days. If something is genuinely urgent — a suspected fraud, a treasurer who has walked out mid-season, an AGM in three weeks — say so in the subject line and I will move it up.
If you think money is going missing right now
Do not start with me. Call your insurer and a lawyer first. There are steps that need to happen in a particular order to protect the organization and the board, and an outside assessment is not the first of them.
Once that is underway, I can help you work out how it happened and make sure it cannot happen again.
You might not need to hire anyone
The free self-assessment takes about fifteen minutes with your treasurer and will tell you where you stand. A fair number of organizations work through it, fix three things themselves, and never need to contact me. That is a good outcome.
